02 / CLIPMUNK
Clipmunk works on your PC. It has no accounts, no analytics and no crash reporting. It goes online only in these cases:
Clipboard. When Clipmunk opens or comes back to the front, it reads the clipboard on your PC to spot a clipmunk-invite: code. The clipboard never leaves your PC, and Clipmunk asks before it adds any channel.
Stored on your PC. Settings and channel links (webhook links are saved in plain text) in %APPDATA%\ClipDrop; a thumbnail and clip-info cache in %LOCALAPPDATA%\ClipDrop\cache; compressed clips in Videos\Clipmunk (older installs: Videos\ClipDrop). "ClipDrop" was Clipmunk's former name.
Cleanup. By default, compressed copies older than 30 days go to the Recycle Bin. You can change this in settings, and it only touches files Clipmunk made, never your recordings. The Compressed clips window shows the space used and can empty it to the Recycle Bin.
Uninstalling leaves settings and the cache behind, so you keep them if you reinstall. To remove everything, delete both ClipDrop folders above (paste %APPDATA% and %LOCALAPPDATA% into the Explorer address bar to find them) and, if you like, your compressed clips folder.
